The New Year is finally here! Welcome 2018!! Many of us have completed our New Year resolutions, and are ready to take ACTION! Weight loss and heathy eating is almost always on the top of everyone’s list. More people are becoming aware of the importance of being health conscious.
Goal setting is great, but I want to help you ensure the goals are realistic. The fatal fruit is making a new year’s resolution, and biting off more than you can chew. Committing to typical things like working out 5 days a week and cutting out juke food, may be a bit much at once. Doing those things can be a set up for losing site of your resolution fast. So here are a few Tips to help WIN at healthy eating:
TAKE IT SLOW!
Going cold turkey is not a great idea, do it with ease. Substitute one bad eating habit, with one good habit.
KEEP IT SIMPLE!
Start at the bottom and work your way to the top. Cut out things that interest you the least, fodder snacks you can do without.
Making a menu ahead of time is always a great idea. When planning there is little room to make a bad impulsive food choice.
CHANGE YOUR MIND!
Remove “CAN’T” from your vocabulary. Train your mind to think I “CAN” have that, but I “DON’T want it.
DON’T GIVE UP!
You may fall off the wagon, IT’S OK! Just dust yourself off, and hop right back on.
BECAUSE YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!!
Making up your MIND to want that healthy life, is the first step to WINNING! Just like anything else in life, it may not be an easy task, but anything worth having is worth working for. Healthy eating extends far beyond the outward effects of weight lose. Diets rich with foods containing fibers, fruits, and veggies may reduce the risk of certain diseases, various types of cancer, obesity, and diabetes. No matter what your age, your daily food choose make a HUGE difference in your overall health and in how you look and feel. So letting get out there and WIN!!!!!!
